I am a relatively young adult who runs and exercises daily, but now I am not even able to run due to muscle pain in my legs, and somewhere inside my chest and back (in the left side beside the shoulder blade). Could this be from vitamin D deficiency?

You need to schedule a Wellness visit

Based on the symptoms you described that could be a lot of different things ailing you. My recommendation is to go to a wellness doctor, nurse practitioner or clinic where you can have blood drawn and analyzed by the doctor or NP. Blood tests such as these can be used to analyze nutritional levels to determine if you're within normal/healthy ranges, do the same with hormone levels to determine if HRT is needed and in some cases test for the presence of certain illnesses and diseases.

A good wellness doctor or NP can determine exactly what is ailing you and what can be done to get you back to optimal health.
